Why we built Backbone. In Luca’s own words.

I built Backbone out of frustration with existing back-office tools. Too slow, too complicated, too overloaded, not ready for modern challenges, and very expensive. Backbone feels light while bringing all the features you'd want in a back-office tool. I made sure it's ready for modern challenges and integrates into existing workflows like a charm. The coolest thing? You can help shape its future. We added a feature request flow so you can ask for new features you'd like to see in Backbone!

Where we come from.

I come from the startup scene and have been involved in several startups. The back-office challenge is pretty much the same everywhere. In the end, that experience is what motivated me to found Backbone.
